There’s so much going on during Beer Week - with individual breweries also doing their own events - that your best bet to plan your week is by going to the official SD Brewers Guild site.

Attending Events and Tastings
The color coded calendar lets you easily view the upcoming events so you can decide which events you want to attend.
If you plan on attending several of the events over the course of a day, we recommend either a San Diego ride-sharing service, public transportation, or choosing a designated driver.

Highlights & Must-Visit Locations
If you don’t know where to begin, I’d recommend you consider attending a tasting or beer tour.
Modern Times Beer, Ballast Point Brewing Company, and Green Flash Brewing Co. are known for their special releases during the week. Stone Brewing is the area’s largest brewery and never a bad choice for me.
Neighborhood Beer Trails allow you to not only explore a neighborhood and its character, but introduce you to local spots you may have never experienced otherwise. When it comes to breweries, and in general, Miramar, North Park, Little Italy and East Village are all popular neighborhoods to check out.
Plus, you’re invited to Weir Beer Company’s Grand Opening. Get ready for food, music, seltzers, and, of course, beer!

Supporting San Diego’s Craft Beer Scene
Beer Week not only connects brewers with potential lifelong customers, it allows the community to come together in celebration of something uniquely San Diego. Patrons get to interact with staff, ask questions, provide feedback, and build a connection. Brewers get to offer their carefully crafted brews, sell merchandise, and grow their revenue.
And thanks to The Guild on the Streets, it even leaves the world a little better than before!

Ways to Stay Connected Beyond Beer Week
If you want to know the latest and greatest with the breweries participating in Beer Week 2024, follow them on social media, join their clubs, and sign up for their newsletters. With that you’ll never miss an event, festival, or chance to try a new beer.
Plus, you know how we feel about supporting local small businesses! And when you post, don’t forget to tag them with #SDBEER, #SDBEERWEEK, and #SDBW.
Though, personally, I like to think you’ll be having so much fun that you’ll forget to check your phone. You’ll be too busy enjoying all the “brew hahas.” I hope you enjoy it and hopefully I will see you there!
