Special All-Ages Morning Shows
Ordinarily, children under 3 years old are not allowed to attend performances at the Old Globe Theatre. However, How the Grinch Stole Christmas! runs special all-ages showtimes on most Saturdays and Sundays at 10:30am.
During these shows, kids 2 and under can attend for free and sit in a parent’s lap. To take advantage of the offer, call the box office’s Ticket Services Department at 619-234-5623 to get a free lap ticket when purchasing adult seating.
All other performances of The Grinch are still restricted to children 3 and older.

Ticket Information
Tickets can be purchased through the box office or online.
I’ve seen youth tickets (ages 3-17) online located in the balcony for as little as about $33 including fees and adult tickets for around $41. Of course prices depend on when you want to go and where you prefer to sit so check with the box office to make sure you get the date, time and seats you really want!
Group tickets are also available if you need 14 or more tickets. To get those, you’ll want to call Group Sales directly at (619) 238-0043 x2414 or send them an email at Groups@TheOldGlobe.org.

The Globe's Annual Christmas Tree Lighting
Head to the Globe’s Copley Plaza for the 19th annual Globe Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Sunday, November 10th at 6:00pm. The event will also include a simulated snowfall and a live performance by cast members of The Grinch.
This event is free to attend, though reserving your spot is required because it’s a favorite among the community!
Though tickets are currently sold out, hopeful attendees can still join the standby line at 5:00pm on the day of the event, where they may be admitted on a first-come first-served basis if there is extra room.
