With the official schedule dropping this week, San Diego Comic-Con 2024 has fans buzzing.
What We Know So Far
Marvel returns to Hall H to unveil their plans for their Phase 6 releases. There’s a good chance fans will get an inside look at the new Fantastic Four, the future of the Avengers, and shout outs to the newly released Deadpool and Wolverine.
Expect sneak peeks into season 2 of The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power, the latest from Adult Swim, plus more info on Transformers: One.
There is no word yet on whether DC fans can expect to see anything from James Gunn’s DCU. Luckily, with updates coming in daily, we’ll know more soon!
People Entering Comic-Con San Diego
SDCC 2024
Comic-Con returns July 25 and runs until July 28, with a preview night on Wednesday the 24th.
While the last few years allowed guests to attend the panels virtually, this year is strictly back to business as usual!
Wednesday the 24th
Unfortunately, preview night doesn’t have any panels but it is the unofficial start of the event.
There’s also no information yet on whether the annual Warner Bros. pilot screenings will return and take their usual place in Ballroom 20.
Thursday the 25th
The 25th is the official start of Comic-Con!
While the full schedule isn’t up yet, these panels have been confirmed:
- Avatar: Braving the Elements
- Transformers: One
- Celebrating 25 Years of Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants
Friday the 26th
Exciting news has just been announced! The Boys will make their Comic-Con debut in Hall H.
They’ll be joining the previously announced:
- The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power
- Rick And Morty: The Anime
- Dexter: Original Sin
Saturday the 27th
Trekkies rejoice as Saturday the 27th is for you!
Star Trek returns with back-to-back panels featuring: Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Star Trek: Lower Decks, Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, and Star Trek: Section 31.
Also on Saturday for DC fans:
- My Adventures with Superman
- Batman: Caped Crusader
Sunday the 28th
Nothing has been announced yet for Sunday, but with the convention back in full force, we know it’s going to be a stacked day of fun!
A Must Visit!
There is also a Comic-Con museum located in Balboa Park.
The museum features artifacts and exhibits around comics, superheroes, anime and more and is open year-round for your enjoyment!
