Tiki Bar Cocktails at the Seven Seas Food Festival at Seaworld San Diego
With so many food and drinks to choose from, the Seven Seas Food Festival will have you sampling traditional cuisines from around the world.
Stands and locations represented for the 2025 festival include Africa, Italy, Spain, the Mediterranean market, Korea, Ireland, the Philippines, Southern California favorites, Peru, Costa Rica, Brazil, Polynesia, and even Antarctica.
You won’t be surprised to hear that the food and drinks aren’t included in admission. You can however pay per item when you order.
Alternatively, guests can buy a Seven Seas sampling lanyard. These come in a 10-item sampler pass for $70 or a 15-item pass for $85. In my experience, these passes offer enough food for a couple to split and are the best value. If you buy the food with a sampler pass most are over $12 each and with the 15-item pass you can get each item for under $6.
The full menu of food and drink items can be found on the SeaWorld site’s Seven Seas Food Festival event page. As I mentioned above, this year’s event will feature more than 20 food and drink stalls located around the park and over 150 different options, so zeroing in on the best things to get can be tricky.
But that’s where I come in – a local that loves food, drinks and of course this event!
Since the menu is so extensive, I’ll give you a selection of my favorite items from past years and some exciting new flavors on this year’s menu as well!

My Recommended Food Choices
It’s good to know that the food menu changes every year. Last year my wife loved the carnitas tacos and I was a big fan of the shredded beef sope, but we’re looking forward to touring other areas of the world like Spain and Korea at this year’s festival.
As someone who’s been to Costa Rica quite a few times, has a sister site GoVisitCostaRica.com, and loves Costa Rican food, I’m excited to try the festival’s version of sopa negra and see how it stacks up. Other selections I’m looking forward to this year are the Brazilian chimichurri churasco and Southern Californian cherry Coke short ribs served over house-made chips.
Don’t be afraid to try new foods either, as you just might find your new favorite. My son loves the Polynesian fried spam musubi, which is spam fried rice dressed up as sushi. You can even get a sample of escargot from France’s booth, or swing by Spain to try octopus on crostini bread.

My Favorite Sweet Treats
Sampling desserts is the sweetest way to broaden your culinary horizons - just ask my kids!
You’re probably familiar with the macarons and eclairs from France and the cannolis from Italy, but don’t forget about Peruvian alfajores cookies and Spanish miguelito puff pastries.
We all also love baklava, a Greek dessert that our family agrees is super underrated.
But I really think that one of the best spots for desserts is the Antarctica stand, which has four different kinds of sweet treats. Taiwanese shaved ice and halo halo sound great on a hot day, but the coconut snowball chocolate cake gets the seal of approval from my family.

The Best Refreshing Drinks
When you’re walking around SeaWorld in San Diego’s warm temperatures, nothing beats a refreshing drink. The Seven Seas Food Festival features 11 different spots to get alcoholic drinks, including a mimosa bar, a European wine boutique, and an Irish pub.
The pineapple and mango micheladas are perfect for sunny weather, and the Sol Bar has lots of classic cocktails. My wife and I loved the Tiki Bar’s punch last year, and the frozen mai tais on this year’s menu will be one of our must-try drinks.
If you like craft beer, you won’t be disappointed - there are more than 30 different beer brands available for you to enjoy, with everything from foreign malts like Kirin Ichiban to local brewers like Ballast Point Brewing & Spirits.
