LEGOLAND California in Carlsbad is one of the most popular attractions in all of San Diego. Perfect for families with younger kids, the park features rides, character meet-and-greets, shows and more, all designed to entertain and educate.
Our founder Todd has taken his family to the park on multiple occasions and told me that the park does an especially good job with their seasonal events. His family’s favorites so far have been the Brick-or-Treat Monster Party in the fall and Holidays at LEGOLAND over Christmas and the winter holidays.
The Red, White & BOOM! event set for the 4th of July this year is of interest for all of us as well. It seems like the event could make for an exciting family day together.

Introducing the All New LEGO Festival
The LEGO Festival is all new in 2025! Celebrating the power of play, LEGOLAND California’s spring event will offer five unique play zones all designed for kids to use their imagination, be creative and most importantly to have fun.
LEGOLAND believes that play isn’t just for a day but rather ‘a way of life!’
These events are often included with admission and for us the added decorations and events make for a nice bonus. It’s also worth mentioning that since the park is meant primarily for elementary school age kids, (everyone is surely still invited) it’s a very hands-on, interactive, play and dance style celebration every time we’re there.

Discount Ticket Information
I have great news! Admission to the LEGO Festival event is included with daily admission.
The best way to get the cheapest admission prices is with a Go City San Diego pass.
The pass will not only get you into LEGOLAND California for the LEGO Festival but also includes admission to more than 50 attractions throughout San Diego. Gear rentals like snorkel gear, kayaks and surfboard rentals are also part of the pass. Premium attractions included are the world-famous San Diego Zoo in Balboa Park, SeaWorld San Diego in Mission Bay Park and more than a dozen kid-friendly museums in Balboa Park and throughout the city.
It’s a bundle and save setup where if you plan on visiting two or more attractions or renting gear, you’ll pay less than the advertised prices. But I’d say have a look for yourself and make sure to use discount code GVSD5OFF for a little added savings at checkout!
