Knott’s Berry Farm has unveiled their calendar for the 2024 season and, in typical Knott’s fashion, they’re going all out. Guests can expect more Charlie Brown, more live entertainment, and a lot more fun in this uniquely Southern California theme park.

Think summer nights filled with music, in-season flavors, and memorable encounters. Plus the return of Southern California’s longest-running Halloween theme park event, Knott’s Scary Farm.

Knott’s Berry Farm will wrap up the park’s 5 seasons of fun with Knott’s Berry Farm. Where guests can enjoy festive decor, classic carols, plus the return of the beloved Peanuts ice show.

“It’s Knott’s, or it’s not”

I wanted to share my personal opinion right up front that Knott’s Berry Farm takes its seasonal events very seriously. A large part of the theme park’s success comes down to one ideal - Knott’s is the perfect place to create a lifetime’s worth of memories.

Ready to show that you’re the ultimate Snoopy and PEANUTS fan? Dreaming of a magical white Christmas? Whatever event is calling you to Knott’s Berry Farm, we know it’ll be worth the visit.

Spring Events

Spring is one of my favorite times of the year in San Diego and it’s a great time to enjoy Knot’s Berry Farm as well.

Knott’s Peanuts Celebration

The Knott’s PEANUTS™ Celebration ran from January 27th to February 25th, in 2024 and we hope to see it back again for the 2025 season!

Highlights included Pigpen in the livery stable, Schroeder and Linus at Calico Park, and Charlie Brown for a PEANUTS themed, “It’s Your Life!”

New for 2024, Franklin joined the gang at Knott’s and you could meet him in a brand new exhibit. There was also a Snoopy’s Legendary Rooftop Concert with the family-friendly indie band, The Jelly of the Month Club.

And all this to get visitors excited about the reimagined Camp Snoopy opening on Memorial Day weekend in 2024. New attractions related to this early 2024 event included Snoopy’s Tenderpaw Twister Coaster and Sally’s Swing Along, both ready for you to enjoy during your next visit!

Knott’s Boysenberry Festival

It’s a celebration of the little berry that started it all!

Springtime in Southern California is the perfect time to celebrate Knott’s farming roots. The food and wine festival not only celebrates Walter Knott’s beginning, but it puts the spotlight on the berry that made it possible: the boysenberry.

Try a lineup of curated dishes that range from savory to sweet to decadent, all with a boysenberry twist! Pair the dishes with a variety of wines, and craft beers, including a selection from local brewers.

The 2024 season brings new dishes for guests to try. A selection of over two dozen food and drink options will bring all the foodies to the farm. And they’re like, wouldn’t this be better with music?

Live music, family-friendly activities, and interactive experiences round out the rest of the festival.

What first began as a berry stand by Walter and Cordelia Knott in 1920 grew into a restaurant and replica Ghost Town. Today, it’s a world famous theme park run by Cedar Fair, that’s still deeply in touch with its humble beginning - and that is definitely a reason to raise a glass - or berry - in a toast.

Knott’s Boysenberry Festival runs daily from March 8th to April 7th, then weekends until April 28th.

Fall & Holiday Events at Knott’s Berry Farm

Calico Mine Ride at Knotts Berry Farm
Calico Mine Ride at Knotts Berry Farm

While I’m not expecting any snow this fall or winter in San Diego, we are looking forward to a bunch of fall and holiday themed fun!

Knott’s Scary Farm

Celebrating 51 years, Knott’s Scary Farm is the largest and scariest Halloween event in any theme park. And since it also happens to be the longest running Halloween event, it's safe to assume they’re the best show in town.

The Cedar Fair company deserves a lot of the credit for the rebranding in the 90s, as they shifted from explicit horror to a more balanced blend of horror and humor. Last year’s golden anniversary celebration made Knott’s Scary Farm the largest event for any theme park, and you can expect 2024 to keep that energy up.

Through the thick fog and cacophony of screams, immersive haunted houses, hair-raising scare zones, and terrifying mazes combine fear and excitement for a dose of sinister fun. The nightmares continue across attractions and shows that thrill.

Plus, hundreds of creatures and ghosts that traverse several bygone eras. Do not ask for whom the nightmare lurks for, it lurks for thee, and everyone in your party over 13.

The thrilling fun runs on select nights from Sept. 19th - Nov. 2nd. Tickets are a separate admission event, so be sure to plan accordingly and ensure you have the correct tickets.

Knott’s Spooky Farm

Little ones get to have their own bit of spooky Halloween fun at Knott’s!

This daytime event runs on select dates from September 26 through October 31, including Columbus Day. Kids can trick-or-treat through Calico plus enjoy pumpkin painting, cookie decorating, surprises, and old west fun.

Your little ghosties can come dressed in costume and join the Calico Carnival Costume Cavalcade. The perfect excuse for them to get the most out of that costume.

Unlike Scary Farm, this event is included with your regular park admission ticket.

Knott’s Merry Farm

Between November 22 - January 5, 2025, Southern California will become a winter wonderland covered in garland, lights, and snow.

The Home for the Holidays musical revue will have your family singing along to classic carols. And you can’t miss Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and the rest of the gang join world-class ice skaters in Knott’s spectacular ice show, Snoopy’s Night Before Christmas.

Calico boasts its own holiday decor and shows. From the Calico Christmas Carolers to the Snow and Glow experience, guests will experience the wonder of Christmas through Calico’s old west charm.

The nightly Christmas tree lighting is perfect for that member of your family that has the tree up in your living room the day after Halloween. While the Christmas Crafts Village is a lifesaver for those who save all of their shopping for the last minute.

Be sure to stop by Santa’s Cabin to say hi to the big man himself.
