First opened in 2021 near Downtown San Diego, The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park is the culmination of a long-time civic desire for a state-of-the-art concert venue that elevates the experience of live music while also serving as a public center for San Diegans.
Located in the Embarcadero on a peninsula that juts out into the San Diego Bay, the facility boasts a dramatic architectural design and unique waterfront location. With 13,000 square feet of performance space and flexible seating capacity from an intimate setting of up to 10,000 people, the venue is truly one of a kind!
It is the summer home to the San Diego Symphony and, when not in use for an event, is open to the general public from 6:00 AM - 10:30 PM daily.
The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park is the new permanent location, more specifically on the Embarcadero Marina Park South, for premier performances and events.
