Why You Should Visit the Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch

Close up of Flowers at the Flower FieldsBeautiful Flowers with a Tractor at the Flower Fields in Carlsbad

The Flower Fields in Carlsbad, California, has been in business for over sixty years! The rolling hills of north San Diego County have been transfigured into an eye-catching, surreal perception of rare beauty.

This place is an actual dream come true; a place only found in a fairy tale. Enjoy the stunning Giant Tecolote Ranunculus Flowers; three acres of roses, orchids, and petunias all alongside a view of the Pacific Ocean, prepare to be mesmerized. You can't forget the historical Ecke Poinsettia!

The Flower Fields offer much more than just an ordinary field of flowers. You can find peacefulness during an open-air wagon ride on an antique tractor. If that does not have you on the edge of your seat, imagine your favorite painting transformed into a glorious garden known as The Artists Gardens.

Using the flowers as art, the idealism is astonishing, as well as everything seen and done at this magnificent attraction. Likewise, greenhouses are fancied all over the world, but the Cymbidium Orchid Greenhouse and Historic Poinsettia Display equals a pure, yet serene sight to see.

Like many Carlsbad hotels, The Westin Carlsbad Resort & Spa caters to families visiting LEGOLAND. As you'll learn on this tour with Todd, The Westin's 4-star luxury and beach access are also highlights.
