North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre
Located just 15 minutes away by car or San Diego rideshare, you will find the North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre, a 20, 500 seat outdoor amphitheater hosting musical acts and concerts of all types and genres.
The venue opened in the late 90’s with its first sell-out being for the English pop group, the Spice Girls. Today, Live Nation Entertainment runs the arena that hosts musical acts and concerts of all types and genres.
The amphitheater features VIP Box Seats, Pit Seats, lower, middle and upper pavilion seats, as well as general admission lawn seats for most concerts. Check directly with the venue for the latest musical acts and artists set to perform.

Otay Open Space Preserve
The Otay Open Space Preserve is located just a 10-minute drive to the east of the hotel and is one of the many great parks located in and around San Diego. With 11,000 acres or protected hills and valleys set aside for residents and visitors to enjoy, the park is a great place to go hiking, mountain biking, or horseback riding.
The park features a gorgeous lake to the northwest named Lower Otay Lake open for boating and fishing for a small fee. The lake is open year-round from sunrise to sunset on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
There is also a beautiful network of trails that runs through the preserve, many of which have stunning views of the surrounding area at the top.
Living Coast Discovery Center
The Living Coast Discovery Center is located a short drive west of the hotel on the San Diego Bay. The center preserves San Diego’s beautiful local marine species with educational exhibits and interactive animal encounters.
This center is also next to the San Diego Bay National Wildlife Refuge, which has beautiful walking trails and views of the area.
Sesame Place San Diego
If you’re traveling with children, the Sesame Place San Diego Waterpark is a great place to make some memories and spend a day outside in San Diego’s amazing weather.
