Due to its ideal location just minutes from the San Diego International Airport and major government facilities, including Point Loma Naval Base and SPAWARS, Four Points San Diego – Sea World is a preferred destination for business people visiting the area. However, because of its proximity to celebrated attractions, including SeaWorld San Diego, Old Town San Diego, Balboa Park, the San Diego Zoo and USS Midway Museum San Diego, it’s impossible to stay at the Four Points by Sheraton and not mix business with pleasure.
Guests of the Four Points by Sheraton San Diego – Sea World have access to several communal areas, including the pool area, fitness center, event center and dining areas. The heated pool and hot tub are located in the center of the hotel, providing easy access to anyone who wishes to lounge, swim or soak away a stressful day. The fitness center is open 24 hours, seven days a week for guests’ convenience and offers a range of equipment, including ellipticals, free weights and balance balls. The meeting space comes furnished with tables and chairs and includes a projector screen and other equipment.

The hotel offers three dining options for guests, all of which fall into the category of “casual” or “convenient.” The sundry/convenience store serves up breakfast buffet style, continental or American. The Bar & Grill serves up an All-American breakfast and dinner, along with brews and pub fare nightly. Though still casual, Old Town Grille is a little more upscale than the former two options. Its menu boasts classic favorites along with traditional cocktails, wine and Best Brews®. Old Town Grille is open daily for breakfast and dinner.
Guests who make the Four Points by Sheraton San Diego – Sea World their home-base for their San Diego vacation are often not at the hotel very often. Instead, visitors spend the day at nearby Old Town San Diego, which boasts some of the best boutique shopping and Mexican food around; Balboa Park, which features 1,200 acres of luscious gardens, museums, theaters, nature trails and, of course, the San Diego Zoo; SeaWorld San Diego, where they can take in an orca show or swim with the dolphins; the Embarcadero, where they can explore the USS Midway San Diego, visit the San Diego Maritime Museum, shop at Seaport Village or splash in the fountains at Waterfront Park; or at the beach, where they can soak up the sun and play in the surf.
