The village has charming local shops that are an ideal place to find souvenirs.

They also have a selection of excellent restaurants to enjoy, many of which focus on seafood. However my favorite as of now is Mike Hess Brewing. There are actually two locations in Seaport Village but the one I love going to is just along the boardwalk with amazing views of San Diego Bay. The menu is simple featuring tacos and burritos but they are amazing. I love the Chicali Taco, it is a carne asada taco with onions and poblano peppers over melted cheese and mashed potatoes, yum!

Families will also enjoy the vintage carousel in the center of the village.

Events at Seaport Village

In addition to the shopping and dining, Seaport Village hosts a number of events throughout the year. This includes live music, art festivals, street performers, and even Surfin’ Santa during Christmas time.
